We have decided to do a mystery/thriller film for our project because we want our audience to be intised by our film and intrigued to find out more. We have looked at a number of different film clips that have a mystery or thriller genre to them and we have chosen this clip to represent what we would like our film to resemble. The lovely bones is the best clip to represent the genre of our film as it gives of just the right feeling of surprise and axiousness we want to achieve.We chose this clip because we think that this film creates the right amount of tension that we would like to portray to our audience through our film. This type of genre film is liked by all our group so we all agree on doing a film based around the lovely bones genre without using the lovely bones storyline. Our group likes the idea of an over voice in our film, this is an idea that we may consider using in our film due to the lovely bones because we like the effect that it gives to the audience giving them an incite to the film without giving the whole film away and this is what we aim for when creating our film. By having this clip representing what genre and ideas we have for our film it gives the audience an idea of what film we are going to be looking at, this film gives off an eerie mystery that makes the audience intrigued and anticipated to find out more and this is what feeling we want our audience to go through when viewing our film, we would also like them to really feel the mystery behind the film as you do with the lovely bones.
